The Consortium Centro Federico García Lorca presents, taking part of its annual music programming, a concert of Rosalía, one of the most relevant voices of new flamenco.
Promotional text from Los veranos de la Villa:
[...] The very young Barcelona-born flamenco singer Rosalía, with her twenty-something years, is dazzling audiences and critics alike with a classic yet transgressive flamenco and a mature, nuanced voice that thrills you from the outset. Knowledgeable about the tradition and with a superb vocal technique, she has no qualms when it comes to moving elegantly and wisely in experimental terrain. She has just recorded her first album, Los Ángeles, alongside guitarist Raül Refree, a leading name on today's guitar scene who has accompanied artists including Rocío Márquez, Silvia Pérez Cruz, Kiko Veneno, La Mala Rodríguez and Christina Rosenvinge. Critics have said that on this album, an austere production, there isn't a single superfluous note. [...]
