Discussion: Spain and puppets: why aren’t we moving forward?
Marian Palma is since 2017 the director of the Titirimundi Festival of Segovia, the largest of the genre in Spain. He works linked to this festival since 2000 because for seventeen years he was the right arm of Julio Michel (historical director of this event).
Ana Sala is a theater distributor. After an independent career in cultural journalism, she founded and directed Ikebanah Artes Escénicas, a company that promotes various puppet companies, both national to Spain and international.
Jaime Santos is a puppeteer-performer and director of the Salamanca company, La Chana Teatro. He has traveled throughout Spain, as well as in other countries with his shows.
This debate will be moderated by Yanisbel V. Martínez, puppeteer, theatrical researcher, and assistant director for the company Etcétera. Martínez is also the artistic co-director of Quiquiriquí.
